Job Details Description Position Summary The Sample Submission
Supervisor oversees daily sample submission operations and
supervises the Sample Submission team to ensure accurate sample
handling, compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and
high levels of client satisfaction. This role is responsible for
assigning and prioritizing work based on daily sample volume,
overseeing sample receipt and tracking activities, and ensuring
consistent execution of labeling, documentation, routing, and
disposal procedures. The position provides operational leadership,
workload coordination, and performance oversight while supporting
company growth, service metrics, and cross-functional
collaboration. What You Will Do Maintain and manage new and
existing client relationships through phone and email
communication. Oversee receipt of incoming samples and ensure
accurate data entry into the computerized tracking system,
maintaining sample traceability throughout the analytical process.
Assess daily sample volume and operational demands to delegate
tasks and distribute workload among team members to ensure timely
and compliant processing. Assign, prioritize, and adjust daily
tasks and responsibilities to balance workload and meet turnaround
time expectations. Supervise consistent sample labeling,
documentation, internal release logs, routing to appropriate
departments, and compliant sample disposal. Oversee daily
operations of the Sample Submission team, ensuring adherence to
SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Provide
direction and oversight for routine correspondence and
administrative tasks performed by the team. Conduct weekly team
meetings to communicate company updates, initiatives, workload
expectations, and performance goals. Develop, monitor, and report
on service metrics, quotas, special projects, and team performance
objectives. Oversee call monitoring activities related to quality
assurance, service promotions, and business development. Ensure
customer satisfaction by proactively addressing client concerns and
resolving escalated issues. Collaborate with Eagle Operations and
cross-functional teams to meet client and business needs. Ensure
department objectives align with overall corporate goals and growth
strategies. Support marketing initiatives, sales targets, and
assigned business development goals. Maintain a clean and compliant
work environment, including oversight of sample areas, laboratory
housekeeping, and safety practices. Perform administrative and
office duties as required and support special projects as assigned.
Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Laboratory Science,
or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education
and experience. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in laboratory
operations, sample handling, or related quality/production
environment. Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is
strongly preferred. Experience with regulatory environments (cGMP,
ISO, FDA, or similar) is a plus. Strong leadership, coaching, and
team management skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize,
delegate, and manage workload based on operational demands.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced
environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills for
internal and client-facing interactions. Proficiency with
computerized tracking systems, data entry, and reporting tools.
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, SOPs, and regulatory
compliance standards. Ability to analyze workflow, identify process
improvements, and implement solutions. Ability to manage multiple
tasks, handle interruptions, and maintain attention to detail. Who
