Memorial Hermann, a leading health system in Texas renowned for excellence in clinical care and patient satisfaction, is seeking a dedicated CVICU Advanced Practice Provider for full-time night shifts. This vital role involves working closely within our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, providing expert care and clinical decision-making for our critically ill cardiac patients. The candidate will work collaboratively with CVICU physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive care. Assess, diagnose, and manage patient care plans in collaboration with the CVICU team. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition. Prescribe medications and therapy treatments as needed. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Participate in clinical rounds and team meetings. Contribute to medical research and review to maintain state-of-the-art care. Strong clinical skills with a focus on cardiac care Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in managing multiple patients' care simultaneously Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license Certification in Acute Care Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
