The ideal candidate will be pivotal in supporting diagnostic imaging services and ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures. Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce scans for diagnostic purposes under the guidance of radiologists. Prep patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety. Collaborate with radiology staff to determine proper scan techniques and protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of CT equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Participate in training and professional development opportunities. Implement radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff. Proficiency in CT technology and operation Strong understanding of radiology protocol and safety Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle a high-stress, fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state licensure as a radiologic technologist CT certification preferred
