Job Description Job Description We are looking for a Fixed Asset Accountant to join our client's team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in accounting principles and a strong ability to analyze financial data. Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze financial data to create accurate entries for general ledger accounts and document business transactions. • Evaluate financial information related to assets, liabilities, and expenses to assist in generating balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other key reports. • Provide recommendations on accounting practices for reserves, assets, and expenditures. • Conduct thorough analysis of operational records, cost trends, and revenue projections to forecast future financial performance. • Collaborate across departments to address account balances and resolve business-related inquiries. • Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities promptly. • Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audits. • Assist management with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience; CPA certification or candidacy is preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting. • Proficiency in managing fixed asset accounting, including depreciation, inventory, additions, and ledger maintenance. • Experience with month-end close processes and preparing adjusting journal entries. • Strong ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Excellent analytical and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and operational excellence.
