Seamstress Workroom Technician

Shift/Hours: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $ 14-$15/hr
Location: League City, TX
Experience: 2+ Years

Seamstress Workroom Technician Job Duties include:

• Fill steam irons with water and turn on
• Review work orders, gather tools and materials to complete the day's tasks
• Follow processes for written work orders
• Assist with cutting fabrics and other materials for fabrication
• Table panels through interpreting written work orders
• Pleat and lack draperies
• Calculate pleats and spaces
• Create pleating templates
• Assist with pinning and bagging finished drapery products
• Cover cornice boxes using a pneumatic stapler
• Safely use a chop saw
• Proficiently use an industrial sewing machine
• Manipulate supplies given to fit the parameters of individual projects
• Check-in/Receive product (fabric, hardware, etc.) upon receipt
• Maintain tidiness of work space (sweeping, trash disposal, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned
  Seamstress Workroom Technician Requirements include:
  
  • Must be willing to work assigned shift
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
  • Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
  • Ability to operate an industrial sewing machine
  • Straight stich familiarity a plus
