Job Purpose The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for helping current and future customers with financial solutions that help drive growth and profit. This position involves calling current customers and engaging potential customers who have expressed interest in a loan. The goal of each call is to sell our financial solutions by providing benefits of each loan, gaining customer commitment, and driving the transaction to close in a branch or remotely. The BDR will perform the responsibilities in accordance with RMC's Mission, Vision and Shared Values. Duties and Responsibilities Using strong communication skills through outbound and inbound calls to engage current customers and prospect who have expressed interest in an unsecured loan, sell them on the benefits of our loans, gain customer commitment and drive the transaction to close in as little time as possible. Growing account volume through good judgment and effective customer solicitations by telephone. Growing and managing a sales pipeline. Keeping detailed notes on all customer interactions. Making multiple outbound calls to current and potential customers. Assessing individual customer needs and presents all available solutions. Establishing rapport with customers over the phone to nourish an environment of trust through responsive service and understanding of current and future needs. Engaging in sales practices that are aligned to create value for both the customer and Regional. Closing loans and working with customers through the closing process. Comply with all company policies, including State and Federal lending regulations. Maintain all customer records to be in compliance with Regional's record retention policies. May perform additional duties and responsibilities depending on market demand. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. 1-3 years of sales experiences. Comfortable making calls to current and potential customers. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products. Data entry proficiency. Must pass drug screen, criminal and credit background checks. Valid Driver's License and access to a dependable automobile with liability insurance coverage. Preferred Qualifications Experience in consumer finance industry. Overtime may be required on an as needed basis and is at the discretion of upper management. Saturdays may be required.
