Job Description:
The role involves operating mechanical cutting and mowing
machines like tractors, jaraffs, and skid steers using hand and
foot controls. Additionally, the individual utilizes chainsaws and
weed whackers as part of their responsibilities. They are also
expected to perform all ground person job functions each day to
maintain efficient and safe operations. Routine Job Functions:
Drives/operates specialized equipment Tractors, jaraffs, mowers,
etc. Job Requirements: Lifting Frequently (1 to 15 pounds)
consisting of carrying tools and equipment necessary to perform
tasks. Can be accomplished with use of one hand. Carrying Rarely (1
to 50 pounds). Picks up logs and/or pieces of wood from ground to
stack/pile. Pieces are cut on the ground to any weight and size
necessary for an employee’s physical capabilities. The largest saw
does not weigh over 15 pounds. (Hand saw can be used as substitute
for chainsaw). Standing Continuously Walking Occasionally
