We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to help us continue to deliver high quality service and ensure the efficient management of goods across our extensive network. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a company that values integrity and dedication in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Operate a tractor-trailer or other large vehicle to transport goods to and from specified destinations. Ensure timely delivery of freight as per client specifications, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements. Inspect vehicles for mechanical safety before and after trips, and report any issues or maintenance needs. Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics staff to confirm delivery schedules and details. Handle documentation related to cargo, route, and fuel accurately and comprehensively. Follow accident procedures in the event of an emergency and report any accidents or vehicle damage to headquarters. Assist in loading and unloading cargo when necessary. Proficient in operating a commercial heavy vehicle. Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to read maps and use GPS systems for route planning. Good physical stamina and ability to manage extended hours on the road.
