Job Description Job Description Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for a company based in Spring, TX . This role leads a team of shipping and receiving personnel, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, maintains precise inventory records, and supports continuous improvement across logistics operations. The supervisor also collaborates with internal departments and external partners to resolve issues, streamline processes, and uphold exceptional service levels. Pay Rate $25.00-$28.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday – Friday 8AM to 5PM (subject to change) Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities • Train, mentor, and supervise shipping and receiving staff. • Assign tasks, set priorities, and foster a positive, productive work environment. • Oversee accurate inventory tracking and documentation. • Conduct regular audits and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Work closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams (customer service, procurement, production) to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records. • Verify shipment documentation and process required invoices. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. • Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies or operational challenges. • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. • Enforce safety procedures and promote a safe working environment for all shipping and receiving personnel. Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements • High school diploma or GED required. • 2–5 years of experience in shipping and receiving, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities. • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. • Proficiency with shipping software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Valid forklift certification • Background check and drug screening Job Type Full-time, Temp to Permanent Benefits • Weekly Pay • 401(k) retirement plan • Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability and life insurance • 5 paid Vacation Days after 1 year of continuous service (paid as a service bonus) • 6 paid Holidays after 1500 continuous hours of service within a calendar year Interested in this job?
