POSITION SUMMARY As the Line cook you will prepare food using
recipes and menu items created by the Executive Chef and the Sous
Chef while keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You should be
knowledgeable of various cooking techniques and have a passion for
food. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable Accommodations Statement To

Functions Statement(s) Assist in preparing meal ingredients, which
includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing fruits and
vegetables as well as marinating meats. Preparing soups, salads,
and sauces as instructed by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations Ensure
that all cooking stations and kitchen surfaces are cleaned and
disinfected before and after each shift. Maintain a low amount of
waste through proper recipe adherence and food rotation Plate and
garnish meal items in accordance with the instructions provided by
the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. Perform other duties as required
including assisting other departments as needed Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Competency Statement(s) Ability to use
kitchen equipment safely Ability to read and follow a recipe Must
have active TABC and Food Handler certifications at all times
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are

performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly
required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to
stand and walk for long periods of time. The employee is
occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop,
kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up
to 50 pounds from floor to waist. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust
focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics
