Oriented Customer Service Team Player’s Mission Effectively carry
out Prasek’s mission by actively serving customers and working with
and carry out the tasks delegated by the Bakery Manager. Essential
Functions - Present a positive, professional, image to every
customer, whether in person or over the phone - Greet every
customer who walks up to the counter - Accurately take orders in a
friendly, helpful manner, whether in person or over the phone -
Promptly assemble orders as requested by customers - Promote
Prasek’s products and specials through suggestive selling - Answer
customer phone calls for bakery department according to Prasek’s
Standards of Operations procedures - Maintain adequate inventory of
items in bakery case and use proper rotation procedures when
stocking - Maintain adequate inventory of bakery supplies such as
bags, boxes, etc. - Demonstrate a sincere concern and sense of
urgency to remedy any problem a customer may have and notify the
Manager on duty if necessary - Practice good personal hygiene and
sanitation procedures - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
standards in all areas of the bakery (food preparation, storage and
assembly) - Perform closing and cleaning procedures as indicated on
the Opening/Closing Checklist - Ensure that all equipment, tubs and
utensils are properly cleaned, sanitized and stored - Perform all
job duties in a safe manner - Operate equipment used in the bakery
according to proper procedures and notify Management of needed
equipment repairs - Notify the Manager on duty of any unsafe
conditions or safety violations - Abide by all company policies and
procedures as detailed in the Prasek’s Hillje Smokehouse Team
Player Handbook and Operating Manuals Requirements: Education,
Knowledge and Experience - Previous experience in customer service
preferred - Basic knowledge of technologically based equipment -
Ability to understand and use all needed equipment and machinery -
Possess an overall knowledge of bakery and value added products,
i.e., quality, ingredients, production processes, preparation
methods, storage methods and uses - Possess a knowledge of quality
baked goods, safety, merchandising and marketing, and selling
Physical and Other Requirements - Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds - Must be able to stand,
walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side-to-side
for an extended period of time - Must be able to move safely around
equipment and possess dexterity in hands and fingers - As dictated
by business and need, must be able to work extended hours and a
varying work schedule
