Job Description:

our patients. As an integral part of our team, the Acute Care Nurse
Practitioner plays a pivotal role in managing the complex medical
needs of our acutely ill patients. This position offers the
opportunity to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, utilize
advanced medical technologies, and contribute to innovational
healthcare practices. Provide acute care and manage treatment plans
for patients with severe and complex illnesses. Work
collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare
professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Perform
diagnostic tests and procedures, including interpreting diagnostic
and laboratory results. Prescribe medications following established
protocols and state regulations. Educate patients and their
families on disease processes, medical therapies, and health
maintenance. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to
discuss patient care and treatment adjustments. Maintain accurate
patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive
information. Expertise in advanced practice nursing for acute care
settings. Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills. Ability to
work effectively in high-pressure environments. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with healthcare
IT systems. Medical Insurance Life Insurance Current Nurse
Practitioner license in the state of Texas. Board Certification as
an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC). BLS/ACLS
certification.
