Job Description Job Description Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Location : Katy, TX 77449 Hourly Employee (Permanent Placement) : $60-$70/HR Shift : M-F, 8-5 (40 hours a week) Benefits : 401K, Health, PTO, Vision, Dental Job Overview We are hiring Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technicians to support high-volume sterile compounding operations in compliance with USP , USP , FDA guidance (as applicable), and Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations . Sterile compounding experience is REQUIRED. Responsibilities Prepare and compound sterile medications in ISO-classified cleanrooms Follow aseptic technique, gowning, and garbing procedures Accurately measure, mix, label, and document compounded preparations Clean and maintain cleanroom areas per SOPs Complete required documentation (batch records, logs, environmental monitoring support) Assist with inventory, supply management, and inspection readiness Requirements Active Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration (in good standing) Sterile compounding experience required (503A or 503B preferred) Knowledge of USP and standards Ability to work in cleanroom environments and wear PPE for extended periods Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs Preferred Qualifications Experience in 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy Media fill, fingertip testing, and cleanroom experience Prior inspection or audit experience
