Job Description Job Description Registered Nurse – Pediatric
CICU Location: Houston, TX (Relocation Assistance Available)
Full-Time Shifts: Days 3x12 or Nights 3x12 (Alternating Weekends)
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care within the scope
of the Nurse Practice Act, focusing on critically ill pediatric
patients with congenital heart disease and/or post-surgical care
Develop, implement, modify, evaluate, and document individualized,
family-centered, holistic care plans Maintain a safe and
therapeutic environment for patients and families Participate in
unit initiatives and quality improvement projects Incorporate
patient and family education into all aspects of nursing practice ?
Qualifications: Current RN license Basic Cardiac Life Support
(BCLS) within 30 days of hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
within 6 months of hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
within 6 months of hire Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN
preferred (or enrollment with completion within 24 months) Minimum
1 year recent Pediatric ICU experience in an acute care hospital
CCRN certification preferred
