Job Title: School NurseClear Creek Independent School District is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Nurse to join our team. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting, protecting, and improving the health and well-being of our students, staff, and community.Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and care to students, including administering medications and treatments as needed.
• Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles among students and staff.
• Conduct vision, hearing, and other health screenings as required by law and district policy.
• Manage the school clinic, including ordering supplies and equipment, maintaining health records, and reporting clinic activity statistics.
• Provide emergency first aid care and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive care and support.Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid registered nurse license from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services to conduct vision and hearing screening.
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in a school setting.Working Conditions:The School Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with students, staff, and parents on a daily basis. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.The School Nurse will be required to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.The position is 187 days per year, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
