Expediting Coordinator in the West Houston area! Apply today! An
Engineering and Construction company in West Houston is hiring an
experience Expediting Coordinator to join their team! In this role,
the Expediting Coordinator will be responsible for planning,
coordinating, and monitoring all fabrication shop activities. The
Expediting Coordinator will ensure that all materials, equipment,
and services are delivered on time, within budget, and in
compliance with project requirements. Salary: $114K/yr. The perfect
Expediting Coordinator for our client will: Plan, coordinate, and
monitor vendor fabrication activities to ensure on-time delivery
and compliance with quality and documentation requirements, Serve
as key liaison between vendors, engineering, inspection, logistics
teams, and third-party expediters; Conduct daily desk expediting
and update control sheets, SP-Mat, and vendor portals. Prepare
expediting visit plans, perform shop visits, and issue reports.
Track vendor documentation, VPIS, fabrication schedules,
inspections, NCRs, packing, and delivery milestones. Review vendor
progress reports and provide action plans for delays or technical
issues; Support APO Manager with weekly and monthly reporting.
Coordinate resolution of NCRs to avoid schedule impacts; Instruct
and oversee fabrication shop expediters Engineering Degree or
Technical Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation
preferred). Minimum 5 years of vendor shop expediting coordination
experience with strong knowledge of fabrication processes,
procurement, and logistics. Proficiency with MS Office, ERP systems
(SAP/Oracle), and material tracking tools (SP-Mat preferred), along
with the ability to read and analyze fabrication schedules and
technical documentation. Excellent communication, problem-solving,
and organizational skills; Detail-oriented with the ability to
