Student Retention and Satisfaction Completion - All programs exceed
the minimum accreditation (NACCAS 50 % or COE 60%) benchmark
completion annually. Employment – Inspire students to complete
program and take state board exams to ensure all programs exceed a
minimum of 70% of graduates employed. Exam Pass Rate (Licensure),
as applicable – All programs exceed a minimum of 70% exam pass rate
annually with 90% of graduates successfully passing exams. Quality
Graduates - Ensure graduates are career minded and career ready to
achieve placement goals in all program. Support, communicate, and
model the concepts taught in the curriculum to ensure students are
embracing the processes that will aid them in their future success
at Milan, their career, and professional life. Student Satisfaction
– Ensure students are receiving a quality education that inspires
them to complete, become licensed, and employed Welcome to Milan
Orientation and other orientations – Conduct orientations with
enthusiasm, excitement and passion following the company
guidelines. Coach and Develop Students – follow up with students
regarding Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), Academic Plans, and
other progress opportunities, mediate between students as needed,
advise students in crisis situations, inspire and encourage
students, provide student services and resources available in the
community to support student retention, and ensure students have
the tools to succeed. Proactively monitor student attendance and
coach students who fall below 70% attendance. Coach and advise
students regarding Milan’s Professional Expectations to develop
students to become career focused from day one by focusing on their
habits, attitudes, and beliefs that lead students to successful
careers. Student Events – Organize and execute Guest Speakers,
Student Appreciation events and Celebration of Success activities
monthly within budget guidelines; organize and execute graduation
and other special events. Cosmetology related programs - Schedule
and follow through with Student Salon Activities/ Demonstrations/
Student engagement – ensure weekly engagement is occurring with
demonstrations/ activities/ incentives. Facility – Ensure the
classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and breakrooms are clean and
“customer -friendly” and report any out of compliance concerns.
Resolve student requests/concerns within 24-48 hours. Support
reinstated students upon return so that the student is successfully
integrated back into his/her education. Leave of Absences (LOA) –
provide guidance to students when LOA’s are necessary and ensure
returning LOA students successfully integrate back into education
Requirements: Administrative Responsibilities Judgment – Use
excellent judgment in carrying out all responsibilities.
Communication – Partner with Campus Director and Education Leader
regarding student issues and concerns. Cooperate with all
departments to ensure transparency and effective communication.
