School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Hempstead, TX is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a
contract position lasting the current school year (CSY). This role
offers the opportunity to support students across all grade levels
by providing vital psychological services that enhance their
academic and emotional well-being. Key responsibilities include: -
Conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for K-12
students - Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and
families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) -
Providing counseling and crisis intervention as needed -
Implementing school-wide programs to support positive behavioral
interventions and supports (PBIS) - Consulting with staff on
strategies to support student learning and social-emotional
development - Maintaining current documentation and compliance with
state and federal regulations Qualifications: - Masters or Doctoral
degree in School Psychology from an accredited program - Valid
state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist -
Experience working in K-12 educational settings - Strong knowledge
of assessment tools and intervention strategies - Excellent
communication and collaboration skills - Ability to manage multiple
cases and maintain confidentiality Working in a dynamic school
