considered. A Life Skills Special Education Teacher opportunity is
available in Houston, TX, serving students across grades K-12 in an
elementary school setting. This contract position offers a
full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, ideal for

with special needs. Qualified candidates must hold a valid Texas
Special Education (SPED) license and have experience working with
diverse K-12 age groups. This role focuses on delivering effective
life skills instruction tailored to individual student goals,
collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and employing
evidence-based strategies to support each learners development. Key
Responsibilities: - Design and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) that address life skills for students with
disabilities. - Monitor student progress and adjust interventions
as needed to optimize learning outcomes. - Coordinate with parents,
general education teachers, and support staff to ensure consistent
support. - Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and
federal regulations. - Participate in professional development and
team meetings to stay current with best practices. Qualifications
and Desired Experience: - Valid Texas Special Education license. -
Experience teaching life skills to K-12 students with special
