Job Description Journalism Intern for Online Industry Publication BIC Magazine---s digital editorial department is seeking a part-time intern to help with a variety of our digital products. Are you a recent graduate or junior/senior currently pursuing a Bachelor---s degree in journalism or public/media relations? We have a great opportunity for you to gain a broad understanding of the energy industry, refine your writing skills and build upon your portfolio. Requirements include: ---Some experience with digital marketing platforms ---Strong, proven written skills and familiarity with AP style ---Comfortable and confident doing deep-dive research and keeping sources and information organized ---Exceptional time management skills; must be able to multitask and meet daily and weekly deadlines ---Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with a team Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, researching and writing news items for BIC Magazine---s website and proofing, editing and/or rewriting sponsored news articles, as well as weekly email campaigns. The hours are approximately 24 hours per week for one semester during the business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is an in-office position and is paid on an hourly rate.
