their whole selves to work. About the role The Head of Pricing,
Retirement Services will be responsible for the pricing of our
Retirement Services products, including new business and in-force
management. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong
leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional communication
skills, with the ability to proactively manage pricing and rate
setting functions. Our products include variable, fixed and index
annuity products alongside defined contribution record keeping and
related services. Why This Role Matters This leader will manage and
develop a high-performing pricing team within Retirement Services
and partner closely with Product Management, Distribution, Finance,
Actuarial, and other key stakeholders to enable Corebridge to
achieve its growth and profitability objectives. This position
partners with peers to ensure the business meets or exceeds its
strategic, financial, and operational goals. This role reports to
the EVP of Product, Pricing and Investments. Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the pricing process, ensuring appropriate assumption,
modeling methodologies, and profitability reporting Developing
initial pricing scenarios for new and renewal business that
balances firm objectives while competing effectively in the market.
You must be comfortable advocating for recommendations with key
decision makers and working with client facing teams to directly
engage customers as needed on complex recommendations Provide
real-time pricing analytics for all currently being sold in the
market Partner with Finance and Actuarial to understand
profitability on in-force annuity blocks, including maintaining the
bridge from pricing output to actual financial results in
partnership with our Finance and Actuarial teams Continuously
refine our pricing models to better understand costs to serve,
while collaborating with business partners Optimize profitability
through a proactive review of financial and behavioral risk
exposures and evaluation of in-force experience, including
experience setting and assumption setting Ensure consistency where
appropriate in all pricing assumptions and methodologies for all
product lines, including consistency with financial reporting
assumptions and methodologies where appropriate Serve as a Member
of our Pricing Committee and maintain key governance routines Drive
efficiency in pricing team processes With crediting rate setting
within this team, responsibilities include: Serve as member of Rate
Setting Committee New business rate setting for all products and
renewal rate setting for all products Rate setting methodology and
its alignment with our strategy and decision making Job
Requirements: 15 years (with at least 5 in a leadership position)
in pricing or other relevant actuarial roles BA/BS and Fellow in
the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation required Solid
understanding of insurance company financials, including annuity
pricing, risk management, GAAP and statutory accounting, regulatory
issues Demonstrated collaboration skills and the ability to lead a
team, including the support of continued growth & development of
internal talent Excellent communication skills, both verbal and
written, and an ability to simplify complex concepts and to
communicate to all levels of the organization Strategic and
creative thinking; open-minded to others’ ideas and suggestions
Demonstrated high level of detail orientation Strong analytical,
critical thinking and problem-solving skills – demonstrated ability
to understand impacts of simple to complex concepts Culture carrier
and both team leader and team player Ability to understand and
respond to constituent needs and deadlines quickly and efficiently
Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is
$207,000 to $330,000 [CA, CO, D.C, HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT,
WA] at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be
eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual
compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple
factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location,
skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition, the
position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with
the terms of the applicable incentive plan. LI-JG1 This role is
